Working alongside the Corporate Vice President of Payor Strategy & Relations (Nashville), the Vice President of Payor Strategy & Relations will be responsible for executing the managed care strategic initiatives for Vanguard Health Chicago. Experience in designing, monitoring, and processing bundled payments for episodes of care is highly desirable. This position will manage the preparation, analysis, review, and projection of the financial impact of managed care third party contracts and terms. This senior-level position will work closely with all constituents to optimize reimbursement throughout the expanding Chicago Market.
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Master of Health Administration, Business Administration, or related Master’s degree; Minimum of 7 years recent experience in a senior level position dealing with managed care strategies; Thorough knowledge of contracts, laws, and regulations relating to managed care and ancillary claims processing and related functions; Experience and expertise negotiating complex hospital managed care contracts; and, expertise in revenue/market share growth; provider network development and strategic planning.
